Our Journey Began With a Simple Belief — Education Changes Everything
Sau Foundation was established in March 2025 in Pune by a group of socially committed individuals led by Dr. Sachin Shinde and Mrs. Susmita Londhe.
Coming from rural and economically modest backgrounds, the founders personally understood the struggles faced by talented students who lack financial support and proper mentorship.
Inspired by the humanitarian ideals of Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Swami Vivekananda, and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the foundation was created with one vision:
To create an educated, ethical and empowered India by 2047.

At Sau Foundation, our vision is to build a comprehensive and self-sustained educational ecosystem in Pune that empowers underprivileged students from rural and economically weaker backgrounds.
We aim to create dedicated institutions that provide not only academic excellence but also discipline, values, and long-term career direction — supporting students from childhood through competitive examinations and into professional careers.
Through these initiatives, we envision transforming rural talent into ethical leaders, civil servants, skilled professionals, and responsible citizens who will contribute to building a developed and equitable India by 2047.
Board of Trustees
Sau Foundation is managed by a dedicated Board of Trustees. All trustees come from economically modest and rural backgrounds, giving them a lived understanding of the struggles faced by underprivileged communities. Their work is driven not by charity — but by commitment and empathy.
